WHAT A BALL - Last July 23, a group of our very own dancers had the priveledge of performing in Pasadena at the Colorado Street Bridge Party. Lead by Drs. GDC dancers showed-off 5 of their repertoirs, Miss René’s Little Frogs (danced by Kezia Arevalo, Brianna Christensen and Alanah and Ariana Nunez), Jinggay's Pas De Quat (danced by Ashley Buhain, Nayri Kalayjian, Emily Marsh and Ani Simonian), and We Can’t Do It Alone, performed by Ani and Nayri. Emily did 1 Lyrical number, “Belief” and a Jazz number “Drums.” We ended the show with a Belly dance performed by Stephanie Sullivan. CONGRATULATIONS, Girls for a job well done!

WHAT A BANG!
Summer camp 2005 was such a success. Thanks to Lady Dyanna who ran it so smoothly. The camp ran for 4 weeks, offering different dance courses. Week 1 was the BALLET & JAZZ camp. Miss Michelle and Jinggay took care of the Ballet classes, offering Technique, Dance Terminology and Choreography, while AJ Deneka took care of Jazz. At the end of the week the girls performed for their parents. To top it all they did their own choreographies. Week 2 offered TAP and JAZZ classes. AJ Deneka and Boy Thomas – our 2 gentlemen – ran the all girls camp so well. With Lady Dyanna overseeing, why would it not go well? Again the girls performed for their parents at the end of the week. Week 3 offered CHEERLEADING and HIP HOP. This was a week of so much fun! The kids where having a BALL screaming at the top of their lungs during Cheerleading class and Hip Hopping around the studios showing of their “buttsies.” Thanks to the gentlemen, Chris Aston and Boy Thomas, they all had a BLAST! Week 4 – our last week – offered BALLET and JAZZ again. It came in a very “Graceful” way, dancing the whole week round. Miss Michelle and Miss René, with the support of Sir AJ, helped the kids perform with grace! Again, thank you LADY DYANNA! What would the Summer Camp 2005 be without you? ENCORE – GDC SUMMER CAMP 2006!

EMILY MARSH you’re the GREATEST!
We all want to CONGRATULATE Emily for a job well done! Last July 29, Emily came home from the IDC Miss Global competition winning the 2nd place OVER ALL trophy. She competed in the Solo Division out of 300 students. The competition was held in Las Vegas. She performed The Drums, choreographed by our very own Miss Meghan Way.
